Memo Events Ltd, the organisers of the annual Portsmouth Business Expo, which is being sponsored by Exact Software, have moved the venue for the business show with just 4 weeks to go.
Bad weather earlier this month has caused flooding in an electrical room at the Pyramids Centre, Southsea, where the event was due to take place. Local authorities have confirmed that the venue will remain closed for at least a further three months.
The business to business show, which attracted over 450 visitors in 2013, will now take place at the Portsmouth Guildhall between 9.30am – 3.30pm on Thursday 20 March 2014.
Matthew Larcome at Memo Events Ltd explains the difficult decision they made in relation to re-locating the exhibition. ‘We decided to take action quickly and move the expo to an alternative venue. We are now organising additional advertising to promote the fact that the show has moved. We urge everyone to help share this message to help spread the word.’
The region’s biggest business show, aimed at supporting local small to medium sized businesses, had been held at The Pyramids Centre in Southsea since its debut launch in 2012.
For those looking to network, forge new relationships and be inspired to grow their businesses can register for free tickets to the business event at portsmouthbusinessexpo.co.uk.
